Role Description The Japanese Language Expert will work full time on-site at the BrizHR office in Gurgaon. In this role, the specialist will translate written materials from Japanese to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.

Daily tasks include interpreting conversations or meetings when required, providing language support to internal teams and clients, and assisting with documentation and reports in Japanese. The role also involves collaborating with HR and project teams on language-related requirements, supporting language services projects,



and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Japanese language usage and business terminology. The expert will help ensure that all Japanese communication meets BrizHR’s quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Translation and Language Services skills, with proven ability to work between Japanese and English.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpreting skills for meetings, calls, and client interactions.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing skills in both Japanese and English for reports, emails, and documentation.
- Candidates should have fluency in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) and very good command of English.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, cultural awareness, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A degree or certification in Japanese language, linguistics, translation, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in translation, interpreting, or language services with corporate or agency clients is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain professionalism in client-facing situations.
