Key Responsibilities:

Networking & Routing:

● Configure and maintain routers, L2/L3 switches, VLANs, trunking (802.1Q), STP, EtherChannel, and inter-switch connectivity.

● Manage IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting; configure static routing and single-area OSPFv2; troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and cabling/interface issues.

Wireless & IP Services:

● Deploy and manage Cisco wireless (APs, WLC, WLANs) and IP services - NAT, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, syslog, and SSH remote access.

Network Security:

● Enforce ACLs, port security, and Layer 2 protections (DHCP snooping, DARP); apply device access control, AAA, and WLAN security (WPA2/WPA3).

Computer Hardware & Systems:

● Assemble, install, upgrade, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals; diagnose and resolve hardware, BIOS/firmware, and OS-level faults. ● Manage hardware inventory, procurement support, warranty/RMA, and preventive maintenance; set up and image recent user machines.

Documentation & Support:

● Maintain network diagrams, device configs, asset records,



and SOPs; provide end-user IT support and support REST/JSON-based automation where needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have

▸ Networking: Routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, and Cisco IOS CLI (CCNA level).

▸ Network services & security: NAT, DHCP, DNS, SSH, ACLs, and port security.

▸ Computer hardware: PC/laptop/server assembly, upgrades, diagnostics, and repair.

▸ OS & troubleshooting: Windows/Linux basics and strong problem-solving aptitude.

Good to Have

▸ Wireless: Cisco WLC/AP and WLAN security (WPA2/WPA3).

▸ Automation & SDN: REST APIs, JSON, Cisco DNA Center, Ansible.

▸ Certifications: CCNA (200-301), CompTIA A /Network , or equivalent.
