Position Title: Manager – Office for International Affairs (OIA)

1. Role Summary The Manager for International Affairs drives global engagement, cross-border academic collaborations, student/faculty mobility programs, international admissions support, and institutional partnerships. The role acts as the primary operational bridge between MIT ADT University, international partner universities, diplomatic missions, and incoming/outgoing international cohorts.

2. Key Responsibilities

Global Partnerships & MoUs

- Identify, research, and assist in establishing academic, research, and exchange linkages with reputed global universities and research institutes.
- Coordinate the drafting, legal/administrative vetting, renewal, and tracking of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Letter of Intents (LoIs).
- Maintain a centralized repository and KPI scorecard for all active international partnerships.

Student & Faculty Mobility Programs

- Administer inbound and outbound student exchange programs, study-abroad/summer school cohorts, and joint degree/dual-degree pathways.
- Guide outbound students on application processes, credit transfers, documentation, and cultural orientation.
- Support inbound international exchange/full-degree students with pre-arrival briefings, accommodation coordination, campus integration, and local regulatory compliance.

International Admissions & Outreach Support





- Collaborate with the Directorate of Admissions to handle foreign/NRI/PIO student inquiries, eligibility equivalence checks (AIU guidelines), and application tracking.
- Facilitate promotional campaigns, virtual/in-person global education fairs, and international counselor networking.

Regulatory & Compliance (FRRO/Visa Support)

- Assist international students and visiting faculty with FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office) registration, visa extension documentation, and local police reporting protocols in coordination with university legal/admin cells.
- Ensure adherence to Government of India (UGC/MoE/MEA/FRRO) guidelines concerning international academic collaborations.

Events, Delegation Visits & Cross-Cultural Communications

- Manage logistics, itineraries, and high-level meetings for visiting international delegations, guest professors, and academic diplomats.
- Organize international conferences, guest lectures, global cultural fests, and capacity-building workshops.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Master’s degree in International Relations, Global Business, Public Policy, Mass Communication, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA). (Ph.D. or specialized certificate in international higher-education management is a strong plus).
- Experience:



Minimum 4–6 years of experience in international relations, international admissions, or global engagement within a higher education institution, corporate global mobility, or international cultural/trade organization (e.g., British Council, Campus France, USIEF, or similar).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in a second major foreign language (French, German, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean) is a distinct advantage.

4. Key Competencies & Skills

- Operational Rigor: Strong project management skills to handle multi-stakeholder international timelines, cross-timezone communication, and regulatory paperwork.
- Interpersonal Agility: High cultural intelligence (CQ) and cross-cultural communication flair suited for global academic dignitaries and diverse student bodies.
- Regulatory Literacy: Working knowledge of Indian higher education regulatory frameworks (UGC/NAAC/NIRF internationalization metrics) and FRRO immigration procedures.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in CRM software, virtual collaboration tools, and database management for student/partner tracking.

5. Performance Metrics (KPIs)

- Number of active/productive international MoUs and joint initiatives.
- Volume and smooth execution of student/faculty mobility exchanges per academic year.
- Turnaround time for international admission queries and FRRO compliance support.
- Positive feedback scores from visiting international delegations and exchange cohorts.
