About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Audit Officer to strengthen our internal audit, financial control, compliance, and process-monitoring functions.

The role will be responsible for reviewing financial and operational transactions, identifying control gaps, ensuring adherence to company policies, and supporting management in improving process efficiency and accountability across departments.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to independently review transactions and processes in a growing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Internal Audit & Financial Controls

- Conduct periodic internal audits of financial and operational transactions.
- Review purchase, sales, expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial records.
- Verify supporting documents, approvals, invoices, vouchers, and accounting entries.
- Identify financial control weaknesses, irregularities, and process deviations.
- Ensure transactions are carried out in accordance with approved company policies and authorization procedures.
- Maintain proper audit working papers, observations, and supporting documentation.

2. Inventory & Manufacturing Audit

- Conduct periodic verification of raw materials, components, finished goods, and other inventory.
- Review inventory movements, stock adjustments, material issues, returns, and transfers.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production, and Accounts teams for stock reconciliation.
- Identify inventory variances, wastage, pilferage risks, and control gaps.
- Support physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Review production-related records and identify unusual or inconsistent transactions.

3. Purchase & Vendor Audit

- Review purchase orders, quotations, invoices, GRNs, and payment documents.
- Verify compliance with the approved procurement process.
- Check vendor billing, pricing, quantities, taxes, and supporting documentation.
- Identify duplicate invoices, unauthorized purchases, or unusual vendor transactions.




- Support vendor reconciliation and verification wherever required.

4. Expense & Employee Claims Audit

- Review employee expense claims, travel expenses, reimbursements, and supporting bills.
- Verify claims against the company's travel and expense policies.
- Check approvals and supporting documentation before processing.
- Identify duplicate, unsupported, or policy-deviating claims.
- Coordinate with HR and Accounts for clarification and resolution.

5. Compliance & Process Review

- Monitor compliance with internal policies, SOPs, approval matrices, and financial controls.
- Review statutory and regulatory compliance records in coordination with the Finance & Accounts team.
- Highlight potential compliance risks to management.
- Follow up on corrective actions arising from audit observations.
- Assist in developing and strengthening internal control procedures.

6. Audit Reporting & Management Support

- Prepare periodic internal audit reports highlighting:
- Key observations
- Financial/control risks
- Process deviations
- Root causes
- Recommended corrective actions
- Present significant audit findings to the reporting manager/management.
- Maintain an audit observation tracker and monitor closure of pending issues.
- Support management in implementing stronger controls and reducing operational risks.

7. Process & Operational Audit

- Conduct audits across Finance, Purchase, Stores, Production, Sales, Administration, and other functions as assigned.
- Review whether established processes are being followed effectively.
- Identify opportunities for cost control, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct surprise checks or special audits whenever required by management.

- Good understanding of inventory and manufacturing processes.
- Strong Excel/MS Office skills.
- Ability to prepare clear audit reports and management summaries.

- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and skilled ethics.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.

Qualification

Mandatory:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred:

- CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Professional certification in Internal Audit or Risk Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in Internal Audit, Finance, Accounts, Statutory Audit, or related functions.
- Experience in a manufacturing, electrical/electronics, power electronics, solar, inverter, or engineering industry will be preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in inventory audit, purchase audit, and financial controls will have an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
