Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and execution of residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, taking ownership of design development, technical documentation, material selection, and on-site coordination.

This role requires a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials.
- Prepare space planning layouts, furniture plans, and detailed design drawings.
- Create and coordinate 3D models, visualizations, and design presentations.
- Prepare construction drawings and technical documentation for project execution.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and accessories (FF&E;).
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.




- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design intent is accurately executed.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and on-site installations for quality and compliance.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and design specifications.
- Support project coordination from concept development through final handover.
- Ensure all projects are delivered within timelines while maintaining NH Studio's design standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional experience in interior design, preferably across residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and design detailing.
- Experience preparing construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E; selection, specifications, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or equivalent presentation tools.
- Robust visual, creative, and spatial design skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
- Knowledge of current design trends, sustainable materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with project execution, site supervision, and quality control processes.
- Strong presentation and client communication skills.
