Role & responsibilities

As an Interior Designer at HomeLane Chembur, your key responsibilities will include, but not belimited to, the following

- Designing: Design creation will be your core responsibility. You are expected to work efficiently using Spacecraft (HomeLanes in-house software), as well as other tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc., to best match the taste and preferences of our customers.
- In office Roles: You will be required to visit client sites as necessary—for initial design discussions, project handovers to the production team, quality checks, and supervision of final installations before site delivery.
- Quote Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing design and cost quotes for multiple customers simultaneously. This may also include work beyond the HomeLane scope such as false ceilings, painting, electricals, civil work, tiling, etc. You will need to coordinate with vendors and the internal team to ensure accurate and timely quote generation.
- Design and Quote Presentation: You will directly interact with clients, understand their requirements, and present your design and quote. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing various on-site tasks, including material procurement, vendor coordination,



ensuring execution in line with HomeLane’s quality standards.
- Communication and Responsiveness: You are expected to remain active on your phone at all times, especially in WhatsApp groups, and respond promptly to any customer or team queries. Timely communication is critical for smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Cold Calling & Lead Engagement: You will be expected to frequently call new or potential customers using data sets provided by the company or other lead sources. It is essential to keep the team updated on all communication and progress with these leads. This proactive engagement plays a crucial role in generating business and building customer relationships.

Please note that your role is dynamic and may involve additional tasks as needed for the smooth execution of Homelane Chembur’s operations and the delivery of quality interiors to our customers.

Preferred candidate profile

- Must have a working Laptop That can be used for the job
- Must be willing to travel to site
- Modular furniture knowledge a plus

- Weekly one day work from home allowed except from Fri- Sun
