Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Broking – Placement Support role based in Chennai. The role involves supporting placement of insurance policies across multiple lines of business, coordinating with insurers to obtain quotations, and assisting in structuring coverage solutions for corporate clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing proposal forms and documentation, comparing quotes and policy terms, and maintaining accurate records of placements and renewals.

The role also includes responding to client queries,



liaising with internal teams on underwriting and claims-related information, and ensuring timely issuance of policies and endorsements. The position requires close collaboration with senior brokers to deliver high-quality service and support to corporate clients.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Insurance products, with the ability to understand policy wording and coverage structures.
- Foundational understanding of Finance concepts relevant to premiums, claims, and risk assessment.
- Customer Service experience, with the ability to handle client queries professionally and maintain long-term relationships.
- Exposure to Retirement Planning or employee benefits programs is an advantage.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are a plus.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Prior experience in corporate insurance broking or general insurance operations is preferred but not mandatory for strong learners.
