? We’re Hiring: Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support and maintain business-critical infrastructure and take ownership of complex operational issues across physical, cloud and hybrid environments.

This is a senior hands-on position suited to someone who combines robust infrastructure troubleshooting skills with excellent incident management, stakeholder coordination and vendor management capability.

What you'll be responsible for

- Supporting physical, virtual/cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Administering and troubleshooting Windows and Linux platforms
- Diagnosing network, DNS, firewall and connectivity issues
- Supporting High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments
- Managing vulnerability remediation, infrastructure patching, security certificates and operational alerts
- Coordinating production changes, deployments and scheduled maintenance
- Managing incidents and service tickets, including Priority 1 / Major Incident situations
- Leading technical troubleshooting across infrastructure, network, application, security and vendor teams
- Coordinating external vendors and managing delivery against agreed SLAs
- Providing clear incident updates, escalating risks and driving issues through to resolution
- Supporting IIS and undertaking basic database/SQL troubleshooting where required
- Following established operational, change and escalation processes

What we're looking for





You will ideally have 4+ years of infrastructure or IT operations experience, including strong L2/L3 production-support experience.

You should have solid knowledge of Windows/Linux infrastructure, networking and DNS, firewalls, cloud/server environments, HA/DR, patch management, security certificates and enterprise monitoring.

Most importantly, you will have demonstrated experience coordinating multiple technical teams and vendors during complex production incidents and will be comfortable taking ownership of an issue until an outcome is achieved.

Experience with ITIL-based Incident, Major Incident, Change and Service Management processes is highly valued.

Preferred certifications

ITIL 4 Foundation and relevant Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco or Red Hat certifications will be highly regarded but are not essential where equivalent practical experience can be demonstrated.

About you

You are a strong communicator and structured problem solver who remains organised during high-priority incidents. You can communicate effectively with engineers, vendors, service managers and business stakeholders and are comfortable driving people toward an agreed resolution.

⚠️ Important: The successful candidate must be able to work consistently during Australian business hours. Australian Business Hours are 5.30 Hrs Ahead of IST. Work will start at around 3am.
