Position Title: Industrial Electrician

Department: Maintenance and Operations

Location: UNIQUE FOODS (A Unit of R K Agri Biz LLP), Muzaffarpur, Bihar

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Job Summary:

The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, including 33 KVA HT lines, Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs), transformers, and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) panels. The role demands expertise in high-voltage systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Electrical System Maintenance and Operation:
- Install, maintain, and repair 33 KVA HT lines, transformers, VCBs, and VFD panels.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs on industrial systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Maintain logs and reports on maintenance activities and system performance.
- System Upgrades and Modifications:
- Assist in upgrading electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
- Work with engineering teams to modify electrical installations as per project requirements.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.




- Implement and follow safety protocols while working with high-voltage equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, equipment performance, and incident reports.
- Report issues and provide recommendations for system improvements to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, preferably in food or manufacturing industries.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in handling 33 KVA HT lines, transformers, VCBs, and VFD panels.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems (preferred).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working Conditions:

- Environment: Industrial plant environment with exposure to high-voltage equipment.
- Working Hours: 08:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
