VITA is looking for an experienced and capable Human Resource Manager to lead and manage the complete HR function at our Ahmedabad Head Office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a mature, hands-on and process-oriented HR professional who can independently manage the complete HR department and build structured HR systems and processes for the organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of HR operations, payroll management, PF, ESIC, labour laws, employee relations, performance management and HR process development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HR Department Management

Manage the complete HR function and independently handle day-to-day HR operations. Develop and implement structured HR policies, systems and processes aligned with business requirements.

Manage the employee lifecycle including recruitment, joining, onboarding, transfers, promotions, performance management and exit formalities.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.

1. Payroll, PF AND ESIC

Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement. Handle PF and ESIC compliance, calculations, filings, employee records and related documentation.

Ensure timely and accurate statutory payments, returns and other required compliance activities.

Coordinate with external consultants, government authorities and other stakeholders wherever required.

1. LABOUR LAW AND STATUTORY COMPLIANCE

Strong practical knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance is essential. Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations and statutory requirements.

Maintain required registers, records, notices, documentation and compliance reports.

Keep the organization updated regarding changes in labour laws and ensure timely implementation of required changes.

Handle statutory inspections, notices and compliance-related matters when required.

1. KRA AND KPI MANAGEMENT

Design and implement KRA and KPI frameworks for different departments and positions.



Work with department heads to define measurable and role-specific KRAs and KPIs.

Establish a structured performance appraisal and review process.

Track employee performance and coordinate periodic performance reviews.

Support management in creating performance improvement and development plans.

1. HR PROCESS DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION

Design detailed HR processes and SOPs for the organization. Develop structured processes for recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll, performance management, employee confirmation, promotion, transfer, disciplinary procedures and separation.

Identify gaps in existing HR practices and implement improvements.

Create employee handbooks, HR policies, forms, formats and process documentation wherever required.

Build systems that improve employee accountability, productivity and overall HR efficiency.

1. RECRUITMENT AND MANPOWER PLANNING

Manage end-to-end recruitment for various positions across the organization. Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with department heads for hiring.

Develop effective recruitment processes and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.

Ensure proper onboarding and induction of new employees.

1. ATTENDANCE, LEAVE AND EMPLOYEE RECORDS

Manage attendance and leave systems. Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, attendance data and leave balances.

Implement proper systems for employee documentation and HR reporting.

1. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

Maintain positive employee relations and act as a point of contact for employee-related matters. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues professionally.

Support management in maintaining discipline, transparency and a healthy work environment.

1. HR REPORTING AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for management. Provide management with relevant HR data,



insights and recommendations.

Track key HR metrics including manpower, attrition, attendance, leave, payroll and performance.

Support management in strategic HR planning and organizational development.

CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate should have:

1. 7-10 years of relevant HR experience.
2. Strong hands-on experience in managing the complete HR department.
3. Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESIC and payroll management.
4. Valuable working knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
5. Proven experience in designing and implementing HR processes and SOPs.
6. Strong experience in creating KRA and KPI frameworks.
7. Experience in performance management and appraisal systems.
8. Strong employee relations and grievance-handling skills.
9. Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work independently and take ownership of the complete HR function.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Ability to work closely with senior management and department heads.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an HR skilled who is not limited to routine HR administration.

The candidate should be capable of building a structured HR function, creating clear processes, establishing accountability through KRA and KPI systems, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting the organization’s overall growth.

The candidate should be hands-on, systematic, process-driven and capable of independently managing the HR function.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

CTC: INR 6,00,000 to INR 7,20,000 per annum
