Position: Houseman

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth day-to-day operations throughout guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Room Attendants with cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas.
- Collect and deliver linen, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, back-of-house areas, and housekeeping stores.
- Handle garbage disposal and ensure proper segregation as per hotel standards.
- Support room attendants with extra beds, mattresses, furniture, and other required items.
- Assist in moving housekeeping equipment and materials safely.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain proper stock levels.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost & found items to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow hotel standards for hygiene, safety, grooming, and guest service.




- Perform other housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and hygiene standards.
- Physically fit and capable of handling housekeeping equipment and materials.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
