NSection 1: Purpose of the position

- Candidate will beresponsible for accounting profile at IBU, GIFT City, Gujarat
N
- To independently set upand operate Accounting and Risk function at International Business Unit (IBU), GIFT City, Gujarat.
N
- To maintain books of accounts, reconciliations, daily control activities, Head office / regulatory reporting, periodic Financial statement preparation and audit handling.
N
- To manage Direct and Indirect tax compliances
N
- To prepare all the prudential reports in line with IFSCA regulation.
N
- To understand and prepare HO risk ratios and explain the management as well as supervisor whenever required.

Taxation, Regulatory reporting and Risk

- Maintain books ofAccounts including postings, managing daily controls includes Bank reconciliation etc.

- Preparation of Financial Statements [JGAAP and IFRS]
N
- Manage audits/ externalreviews like statutory audit, review by regulators etc
N
- Preparation and submission of Head office related reports.
N
- Manage all direct and indirect tax compliances, as applicable, for the IBU
N
- Mange periodic reporting to IFSCA and any other regulators, as may be required
N
- Liaise with advisors / external consultants and internal stakeholders
N
- Prepare Credit / Market/ Liquidity / Operational Risk Reports in line with IFSCA and HO rules.

- Knowledge – IFRS and Indian tax laws

- Skills – Strong Communication and analytical skills, good negotiation skills and decision-making abilities in ambiguous situation, Discipline related to timeline/deadline adherence and punctuality, MS- excel proficiency
N
- Experience: 10+ years of experience, in Banking/ Financial services, Foreign/India Banks, exposure to IFRS, working knowledge of taxation including international Transfer pricing, understanding of Bank Financial statements and products, experience of working in a cross-cultural setting.

- Qualifications –Preference to CA and/or higher equivalent qualification in Accounting / Taxation, IFRS certification, FRM/ any other equivalent qualification
