nWeare seeking an exceptional Gujarati Cuisine Chef to work for a high-profile private family residence in Colaba, Mumbai.

NThe ideal candidate should have deep expertise in authentic Gujarati vegetarian cuisine, with the ability to prepare traditional family recipes as well as refined, contemporary Gujarati dishes. The chef must demonstrate excellent hygiene, discretion, consistency, presentation, and the ability to maintain the highest standards expected in a prestigious private household.

NKey Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic and high-quality Gujarati vegetarian cuisine on a daily basis.

- Prepare traditional Gujarati dishes including Kathiyawadi, Surti, Jain and regional Gujarati specialties, as required.
N
- Prepare daily meals according to the family's preferences, dietary requirements and instructions.
N
- Maintain consistency intaste, quality, portioning and presentation.
N
- Develop and maintain a variety of menus suitable for regular family meals and special occasions.
N
- Prepare festive and traditional Gujarati menus for celebrations and family functions.
N
- Be capable of preparingfarshan, sweets, snacks, breads, accompaniments, pickles and traditional Gujarati delicacies.

- Understand and follow specific dietary requirements, including Jain food preparation where required.

- Source and select premium-quality fresh ingredients and maintain strong knowledge of seasonal produce.
N
- Coordinate with household staff and management regarding meal timings, menus and requirements.
N
- Maintain complete cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and food-preparation areas.
N
- Ensure proper food storage, inventory control and wastage management.
N
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the family's personal information, lifestyle, preferences and household activities.

- Demonstrate flexibilityto prepare meals according to changing schedules and special requests.

- Support private family events and formal dinners when required.

nRequired Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience specializing in Gujarati cuisine.
N
- Strong knowledge of traditional Gujarati cooking techniques, ingredients and regional specialties.
N
- Experience working withhigh-profile families, luxury private residences, premium hotels or fine-dining establishments will be highly preferred.

- Excellent understandingof vegetarian cuisine.
N
- Knowledge of Jain cuisine is an advantage.
N
- Ability to prepare foodwith exceptional attention to taste, freshness, hygiene and presentation.

- Strong menu-planning and ingredient-selection skills.

- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
