Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Cooking Chef in the company canteen, located in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. The chef will be responsible for planning and preparing daily meals for employees, ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.

Day-to-day tasks include managing the kitchen operations, supervising helpers, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and monitoring inventory of ingredients and supplies. The role also involves creating balanced menus suitable for a pharma company environment, coordinating with administration on meal schedules, and adhering to health, safety,



and regulatory guidelines. The chef is expected to work collaboratively, manage time efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills with experience in Indian and basic multi-cuisine cooking suitable for a corporate canteen.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to plan menus, manage portions, and control food costs effectively.
- Experience in running a high-volume kitchen, including supervising staff and coordinating meal service.
- Understanding of balanced and nutritious meal preparation, aligned with a healthcare-oriented environment.
- Good time management, organizational skills, and reliability in maintaining consistent meal schedules.
- Previous experience working as a chef in a canteen, hotel, restaurant, or institutional kitchen preferred.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow recipes, maintain records, and manage inventory.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, health regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work on-site in Jogeshwari, Mumbai, and be available for full time shifts as required.
