About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an engineering team in Australia. The successful candidate will contribute to mechanical engineering projects involving design, development, analysis, testing, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Perform mechanical analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support project planning, engineering design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Ensure engineering work complies with relevant technical standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Identify technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders when required.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and project documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills




- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, engineering principles, and technical documentation.
- Experience with CAD/design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian engineering standards and workplace safety requirements is advantageous.
