NKey Responsibilities:

- Trend research and in-depth market survey in order to thoroughly understand the market needs.

- Exploration of patterns, colors and techniques to create new and unusual print designs keeping in mind the brands product range.
N
- Development of Print designs and planning unique and new placements, motifs and layouts
N
- Research and develop ideas from various sources;

scanning, redrawing andchanging colour ways;

using software packagesto create current effects.

- To design and develop new prints seasonally
N




- Provide design/concept boards to communicate design and seasonal direction for textile prints, materials and trims.

- experimenting with colour, fabric and texture
N
- To work within a budgetand to deadlines, whilst keeping up with current trends and production techniques.

- Creating fabric designsand patterns for woven, knitted and printed materials
N
- Study fashion trends and anticipate designs that will appeal to consumers. keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes

- Decide on a theme for acollection, planning and developing ranges
