Role

We are looking for a GOLANG BACKEND ENGINEER with strong experience in Microservices and PostgreSQL to develop and maintain an enterprise middleware/integration platform for the Payment Card Systems and Card Management domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop scalable and secure GoLang microservices.
- Design and develop REST APIs / gRPC services and system integrations.
- Build middleware for integration between Card Management Platforms and third-party systems.
- Design, develop and optimise PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries.
- Implement transaction processing, error handling, logging and resiliency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.
- Follow coding standards, unit testing, Git and Agile practices.

Must Have

- 3+ years of hands-on Golang development.
- Robust Microservices architecture experience.
- Strong PostgreSQL / SQL skills.
- REST API and enterprise integration experience.
- Good understanding of distributed systems.
- Payment Card Systems and Card Management domain experience.

Candidates with backend engineering experience and exposure to Payment Card Systems and Card Management Platforms will be preferred.
