Summary:

Global People Operations (GPO) is the firm’s centralized global function within People & Culture, delivering integrated People services through specialized service pillars, including P&C; Generalists, Leave Administration, and Onboarding. GPO combines operational service delivery with functional expertise, owning the design, governance, and execution of core employee lifecycle processes to provide consistent and scalable employee experiences across the globe.

The Leaves Associate is responsible for delivering expert People & Culture support and partnering with HRBPs and business stakeholders related to leave of absence, accommodation, and flexible work arrangement (FWA) programs for the firm's partners and employees. This role manages a variety of employee requests, including FMLA, parental leave, sick and family leave, disability leave, military leave, personal leave, workplace accommodations, and flexible work arrangements (collectively referred to as

"incidents"). The associate needs to support activities across US & multiple jurisdictions to assess eligibility, provide guidance on available options, and support individuals throughout the incident lifecycle. This role is responsible for administering cases and maintaining accurate case documentation, monitoring timelines and leave entitlements, ensuring timely receipt and review of required documentation, and escalating complex matters as appropriate

Location: Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a trusted People & Culture resource for employees requesting leave, accommodation, or flexible work arrangements,
- providing guidance on available programs, eligibility requirements, and next steps.
- Execute and oversee employee leave updates from initial request through return to work, including determining eligibility,
- collecting and reviewing required documentation, issuing notifications, and maintaining accurate records, through HR Help Desk
- platforms, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level expectations.
- Manage the FMLA administration process, including leave qualification, designation, medical certification review, and tracking




- of intermittent and reduced schedule of leave usage.
- Support managers and employees throughout the leave and accommodation process by providing guidance on policy
- application, legal requirements, and available resources.
- Maintain and update records of return-to-work activities for employees returning from extended leaves of absence, workers'
- compensation, or disability-related absences.
- Review and administer flexible work arrangement requests in accordance with firm guidelines and business needs.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence, including Advantages, Employee Relations to resolve or assist
- employees related to cross-functional employee matters and support business priorities.
- Maintain the integrity of employee data and HR systems through transaction processing, audits, record maintenance, quality
- reviews, and adherence to data governance standards.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, regulatory requirements, and
- documentation standards through accurate administration and process execution of all leave, accommodation, and FWA cases.
- Produce, analyze, and interpret People & Culture metrics, operational reports, and workforce data to support business
- decisions, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and self-service resources
- that promote consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements by leveraging HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance
- efficiency, service delivery, and employee experience.
- Develop expertise in assigned People Operations processes and provide guidance, training, and support to employees and team




- members while promoting standardization and best practices.
- Participate in projects and strategic initiatives, including technology implementations, process transformations,
- acquisitions/integrations, and organizational changes that strengthen the Global People Operations operating model.
- Build knowledge of the firm's strategy, service lines, and business priorities to effectively support organizational objectives and contribute to an exceptional employee experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

- Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in leave administration, accommodations, employee relations, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, disability programs, and other applicable federal, state, and local leave and accommodation laws
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands and support multiple stakeholders across different business areas
- Highly collaborative and action-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and influence within a matrixed organization
- Strong initiative and accountability, with a hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership
- Excellent customer service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional, and onshore/offshore teams
- Professionalism and results orientation, with a commitment to continuous learning and development
- Operational mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to solve problems and drive execution
- Experience in HR/ ERP tools/ systems (preferably Oracle), service management platforms, and related technologies for at least 1 year
- Demonstrated ability to interpret policies, resolve complex employee issues, and manage competing priorities
- Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, Power BI, Macros).
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for enhancing processes, service delivery, and employee experience
