About The Role

We are actively seeking a Board Game Reasoning Expert to join our client’s team as a Game Designer working remotely. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI research by leveraging your expertise in board games, strategic reasoning, and complex rule systems. As a key member of the AI training and evaluation process, you will develop and assess datasets that enhance the reasoning capabilities of next-generation artificial intelligence models.

Your role will involve analyzing game scenarios, designing reasoning tasks, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of AI responses. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in game design, logic, and strategic analysis who are passionate about advancing AI technology from anywhere in the world.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, cognitive science, game design, philosophy, economics,



or a related analytical discipline.
- At least two years of professional or semi-professional experience in board game design, playtesting, or involvement in tabletop game communities with a focus on strategy and reasoning.
- Deep understanding of logic, probabilistic reasoning, game mechanics, and complex rule systems.
- Experience in game theory, behavioral economics, decision science, or formal logic is highly desirable.
- Exceptional written communication skills for documenting evaluation procedures, guidelines, and analysis results.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving AI reasoning through strategic game analysis and dataset creation.

Key responsibilities include

- Creating and reviewing game-based reasoning tasks designed to evaluate AI systems' decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Analyzing complex board-game scenarios, strategic decision trees, and rule-based systems to develop high-quality datasets.
- Assessing AI-generated responses for correctness, logical consistency, and reasoning quality to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Developing prompts, rubrics,



and evaluation guidelines tailored to board-game and strategy-focused tasks to standardize assessments.
- Identifying logical errors, rule violations, and flawed reasoning in AI outputs and contributing to the development of benchmarking tools.
