EDRC FPS Design Engineer Job Function EDRC Role Design Engineer – MEP (FPS) Sub Job Family Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Band E Band SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role) To assist in the preparation of Fire Protection System (FPS) designs ensuring compliance with NFPA, NBC, and safety codes.

SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop basic layouts for sprinkler and hydrant systems. Support hydraulic calculations, material estimation, and BOQ preparation. Assist in reviewing vendor drawings and system coordination. Maintain design documentation and revision control.

SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS Internal Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction FPS Lead, BIM, QA/QC External Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction Consultants, Vendors (as applicable) SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE &





EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE Minimum Qualifications B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical) with 3–7 years’ experience in FPS design.

Language Skills

Proficient in English and local language for in office coordination EXPERIENCE Years of Experience 3–7 years Nature of Ex. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
