Role Description This is a full-time remote Fashion Designer role.

The Fashion

Designer will conceptualize and design clothing and accessories that align with the organization’s mission and brand identity. Daily responsibilities include sketching designs, selecting fabrics and textiles, overseeing fittings, and incorporating embroidery and other detailing as needed. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine collections, preparing design specifications for production partners, and adjusting designs based on feedback and fit assessments.

The Fashion

Designer will also participate in virtual meetings, maintain digital design files,



and manage timelines to meet project deadlines while working from home.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, including the ability to develop cohesive collections and translate concepts into detailed designs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Textiles and Embroidery, with an understanding of fabric properties, surface embellishment techniques, and material selection.
- Candidates should possess skills in Fitting, including experience with garment construction, fit adjustments, and collaborating with pattern makers or production teams.
- Strong visual creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools) are beneficial.
- Good communication skills, the ability to work independently in a remote environment, and effective time management are required.
- A relevant qualification in Fashion Design or a related field, or comparable professional experience, is preferred.
