Employment Law Specialist

A Big-4-style professional-services firm building its India centre has partnered with Flexiple to hire an Employment Law Specialist into its internal legal function. With headcount growing across several cities, the firm needs someone who can keep its own employment practices defensible while the business scales.

What the role covers

- Advise HR and business leaders on employment-law questions across hiring, performance, and exits
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and internal HR communications for legal risk
- Manage disciplinary processes, POSH inquiries, and termination matters end to end
- Track state-specific labour-law changes and update internal policy accordingly
- Represent the firm in labour-court or conciliation proceedings where needed, working with external counsel

Where this sits You would work inside the internal legal team, partnering closely with HR business partners who bring you real cases - a contested termination, a POSH complaint, a state-specific compliance question - rather than abstract policy work. The firm operates across multiple states,



so jurisdictional variation is a constant feature of the job, not an edge case.

What we're looking for

- 3 to 7 years of employment-law experience, in-house or at a law firm with an employment practice
- An LLB with enrolment as an advocate, and working knowledge of the Shops and Establishments Act, POSH Act, and state labour codes
- Experience handling disciplinary processes and exit matters directly, not just advising from the sidelines
- Transparent, HR-friendly written communication - policies and advice that non-lawyers can act on
