Job Summary

Rudra Shield is hiring an experienced ELV Engineer to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain CCTV surveillance, biometric attendance and access-control systems at residential, commercial and industrial sites. Knowledge of fire alarm systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and configure IP, HD and Wi-Fi CCTV systems.

- Install and troubleshoot NVRs, DVRs, cameras, storage devices and surveillance accessories.
- Configure IP addresses, networks, remote viewing and mobile applications.
- Install biometric attendance, access-control and electromagnetic lock systems.
- Perform cable laying, termination, testing and labelling.
- Diagnose hardware, cabling, power-supply and network-related faults.
- Conduct site surveys and identify material and installation requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance and attend customer service complaints.
- Test completed installations and ensure proper system handover.
- Prepare job cards, service reports and site documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, supervisors and other team members.
- Follow company safety, quality and installation standards.
- Guide junior technicians when required.

Required Skills





* Practical experience with CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PoE switches and basic networking.
- Experience with biometric attendance and access-control systems.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, routers, switches and structured cabling.
- Ability to use testing and installation tools.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Basic customer communication and site coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of conventional or addressable fire alarm systems.
- Experience with video door phones, intrusion alarms and electronic locks.
- Experience in commercial or large-site ELV projects.

Qualification

ITI, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Networking, Computer Hardware or a related technical field.

Candidate Requirements

* 2–4 years of relevant field experience.
- Comfortable travelling to customer sites across Gurugram and Delhi NCR.
- Responsible, disciplined and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to learn current ELV and security technologies.
