Role Description The Education Counselor role at Ask Education is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida.

The Education

Counselor will meet with students and families to understand their academic background, interests, and career goals, and provide guidance on suitable courses, institutions, and study options. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission processes, maintaining accurate records of student interactions, and following up with prospective students. The role also involves organizing and participating in seminars or information sessions, collaborating with internal teams to stay updated on programs and policies, and responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.





The Education

Counselor is expected to offer unbiased, ethical advice and support learners in making confident, informed education decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong Student Counseling and Educational Consulting skills, with the ability to understand learner needs and recommend appropriate academic pathways.
- Experience or training in Career Counseling and Education guidance, including knowledge of current courses, institutions, and career trends.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to conduct clear, empathetic, and qualified counseling sessions.
- Ability to build trust with students and families, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced certification in counseling or career guidance is an advantage.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and comfort working with student databases.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Prior experience in an education consultancy, school, college, or training organization is preferred.
