Job Summary

A vacancy for a Digital Sourcing Manager has arisen within Airbus in Bengaluru. You will join the Digital business and Function Management team of Governance department in India, whose responsibilities are the transversal Digital sourcing strategy, call for tender operational contracts.

About the role

According to your interests career objectives, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself on some (or all) of these activities:

- Implement the Digital Sourcing Strategy through shaping the Supplier landscape and contributing to Supplier selection processes.
- Drive the operational sourcing activities including governance boards to foster rationalisation increase business value
- Define implement operational supply chain monitoring guidelines
- Drive the continuous improvement of our way of working including monitoring of our strategic suppliers performance in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Co-lead major contracts sourcing multi-functional teams
- Foster synergies on sourcing culture across divisions in Airbus
- Act as focal point for Digital Domains to provide guidance on all sourcing related activities.

This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

- Willing to speak up able to adjust communication style to all levels of the organisation

You have

- Business acumen to understand the impact of Digital challenges along with IT/ITES Services industry knowledge
- Knowledge of IS/IT processes digital trends (Cloud, SaaS,..) would be a plus
- Ability to translate Business needs into mature WorkSpec standards
- Understanding of Work Packages Contract lifecycle management, procurement supplier management processes and Contract management experience would be a plus
- A high level of emotional intelligence as well as positive listening and coaching skills
- Negotiation level of English
