Role Description The DGCA Ground Class Instructor is a full-time, in office role based in Jaipur. The instructor will deliver DGCA syllabus-based ground classes, including subjects such as Air Regulations, Navigation, Meteorology, and Technical General, using clear, structured lesson plans and up-to-date training materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing teaching content, conducting classroom sessions, explaining complex concepts in an accessible manner, and monitoring student progress through assessments, quizzes, and doubt-clearing sessions.
The role involves mentoring students on exam strategies, supporting them with documentation and regulatory requirements, coordinating with the academic team to keep course content aligned with DGCA guidelines, and maintaining accurate attendance and performance records.
The instructor is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of training methods and ensure a disciplined, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong theoretical knowledge of DGCA ground subjects (Air Regulations, Navigation, Meteorology, Technical General) and current DGCA standards.
- Proven experience in aviation training or instruction, preferably in DGCA Ground classes or related pilot training courses.
- Effective teaching, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to break down complex topics into simple, practical explanations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear notes, practice papers, and study materials.
- Ability to guide and mentor students, provide constructive feedback, and support diverse learning styles in a non-discriminatory manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to plan lessons, meet schedules, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for presentations, online resources, and student tracking; familiarity with learning management systems is an advantage.
- Valid or previous CPL / ATPL theory knowledge, DGCA exams cleared, or equivalent aviation academic background is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable; relevant aviation certifications or instructor training are a plus.
- Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and professional ethics, with a collaborative approach to working within an academic team.
