About The Role The NetDevOps Consultant at SISL Global will play a pivotal role in transforming network operations through automation, integration, and AI-driven solutions. This position involves designing and implementing advanced network infrastructure as code, developing CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI and machine learning to optimize network performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering combined with expertise in automation tools and cloud environments.

This role requires collaboration across multiple teams, including cloud, security, and platform engineering, to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure network solutions aligned with modern operational principles such as SRE and AI-first strategies. The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of network services, drive innovation in network automation, and support global 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in network engineering, NOC, NRE, or NetDevOps roles with a focus on automation and reliability engineering.
- Deep understanding of core networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, and HSRP/VRRP.
- Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center technologies (ACI/Nexus), WLAN, firewalls, and load balancers.




- Strong proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Netmiko, NAPALM, and pyATS is preferred.
- Experience working with orchestration tools like Itential and source of truth platforms such as NetBox or Nautobot.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools including SolarWinds, Grafana, Elastic, ThousandEyes, and DNAC.
- Understanding of cloud networking in Azure and GCP environments.
- Exposure to AIOps, AI-driven operations, and observability platforms is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in networking, cloud platforms, and automation are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC) using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline provisioning and lifecycle management of network resources.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitOps, APIs, and orchestration platforms like Itential to automate network service deployment.
- Automate connectivity services such as VLAN, DNS, Firewall, and DDI, integrating workflows with ServiceNow and ITSM tools for seamless operations.
- Drive AI/ML use cases including WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self-healing network mechanisms.
- Integrate and manage observability platforms such as SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, Grafana, and ZDX to enable proactive network monitoring and insights.
- Provide engineering support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent integrations to facilitate intelligent network management.
- Ensure network compliance, security monitoring, cost optimization,



and continuous stability improvements through AI-driven insights.
- Collaborate with cloud, IAM, SRE, and platform teams to deliver unified control plane operations across Azure, GCP, and edge environments.
- Participate in design reviews focused on resilience, failure domains, scalability, and automation readiness to ensure robust network architecture.
- Create reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules for provisioning, upgrades, compliance, and backup workflows to promote operational efficiency.
- Mentor engineering teams and contribute to best practices in NetDevOps, automation, and reliability engineering.
- Support global 24x7 operations following SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, while driving incident reduction through AIOps.
