Angular –

- Front End Developer

Summary

UST is looking for an Angular –

- Front End Developer with strong experience in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Docker. The role involves designing and developing responsive user interfaces, building backend services, containerizing applications, and collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The candidate should also have exposure to Generative AI frameworks/APIs and modern cloud-native technologies.

The Opportunity

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Design and implement responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Python with frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Containerize applications and services using Docker.
- Write and maintain Dockerfiles and manage container images.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues in production systems.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and follow best development practices.
- Use Git for source code management and collaborative development.




- Ensure applications meet requirements for HTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work with Generative AI frameworks and APIs where applicable.

What You Need

- 5+ years of professional experience with Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 5+ years of experience building backend services using Python.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, including writing Dockerfiles and running containers in development/CI workflows.
- Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks or APIs, such as OpenAI GPT and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong understanding of HTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good experience with Git version control.

Desired Skills

- Experience deploying containers on Kubernetes –
- EKS, GKE, or AKS.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with MLOps or model deployment frameworks.
- Background in TypeScript, Next.js, or Server-Side Rendering (SSR).




- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled applications.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
