Education: Diploma Mechanical Engineering

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

6 - 9 years work experience of mechanical design in Mining field, prefer to Rock drilling tools.

Proficiency with Creo solid modeling. Must demonstrate good modeling, drafting and large assembling skills with Creo.

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection to optimize product design and functionality.

Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must be a team player – open-minded and versatile.

Must be fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project inputs to fully understand client requirements, efficiently planning and executing work to assure high-quality and timely delivery.

Create and refine 2D drawings and detailed 3D models using Creo, managing engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) changes and change notices (CNs) through Teamcenter.

Select appropriate components from suppliers, ensuring compatibility and performance according to engineering standards.





Maintain clear and timely communication with customers and internal stakeholders to address inquiries, provide technical support, and troubleshoot design challenges.

Continuously enhance personal competencies related to manufacturing processes, material selection, Down the Hole, Top Hammer bits, Drill bits, Mechanical systems, and engineering fundamentals such as strength of materials and machine design.

Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) and tolerance analysis to maintain desired manufacturing precision and quality.

Collaborate and share knowledge within the team fostering an environment of synergy, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Report progress and project updates regularly to the Manager or Team Lead, adhering to company policies, values, and the business code of practice.
