We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven

Deputy Branch Manager to support the overall operations, business development and customer service functions of a bank branch. The candidate will work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve business targets, manage customers and ensure smooth branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Branch Manager in managing day-to-day branch operations.

- Drive business growth through acquisition of recent customers and expansion of existing relationships.

- Achieve assigned targets for deposits, loans, investments, insurance and other banking products.

- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

- Supervise and guide branch staff to achieve individual and branch-level targets.

- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer queries and complaints.

- Monitor branch performance and support implementation of business strategies.

- Ensure compliance with banking policies,



KYC/AML requirements and regulatory guidelines.

- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth processing of customer transactions and services.

- Assist in maintaining branch controls, documentation and operational standards.

- Act as Branch Manager in their absence when required.

Candidate Requirements

- Prior banking experience is mandatory.

- Experience in branch banking, sales, relationship management or branch operations will be preferred.

- Strong knowledge of banking products, processes and compliance requirements.

- Proven ability to achieve sales and business targets.

- Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.

- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution.

- Ability to manage a team and work in a target-driven setting.
