About The Role We’re looking for a Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience , with strong hands-on expertise in data reconciliation, financial data integrity, and large-scale data validation . As a vital member of our data team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our financial data across multiple systems. Your work will directly impact the quality of our financial reporting, compliance, and decision-making processes.

You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to build reliable data pipelines and ensure data accuracy. Your expertise will help us automate manual reconciliation processes, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and develop scalable validation frameworks that support our fast-growing business needs.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on reconciliation and data validation.
- Proficiency in SQL with extensive experience handling large datasets and complex queries.
- Hands-on experience in building reconciliation and validation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards in financial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain robust data reconciliation frameworks across multiple financial and operational systems.
- Develop automated checks to identify mismatches, discrepancies, and missing data points, ensuring data integrity.
- Create and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines capable of processing large datasets efficiently.
- Perform transaction-level and aggregate-level reconciliation to verify data accuracy.
- Investigate data breaks, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.




- Develop SQL-based validation scripts and data quality checks to monitor ongoing data health.
- Automate manual reconciliation processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
