We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst / Data Governance Specialist with 7+ years of experience to drive data-driven decision-making and ensure robust data governance practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, SQL, data modeling, and governance frameworks , along with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

- Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights.
- Design and develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
- Perform data validation, profiling, and root cause analysis to improve data quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.

Data Governance

- Define and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with data quality, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish data lineage, metadata management, and data stewardship practices.




- Monitor and improve data quality metrics and remediation processes.

SQL & Database Management

- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Optimize database performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Support ETL processes and ensure accurate data movement across systems.

Data Modeling

- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define data architecture and schema designs.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and integrity of data models.
- Maintain documentation for data models, data dictionaries, and standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Partner with cross-functional teams including business, IT, and data engineering.
- Communicate complex data concepts in a transparent and concise manner.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
