About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our agile team on an hourly contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our AI research projects by developing realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios, creating reference outputs, and building robust evaluation frameworks. Your expertise will help simulate real-world security operations, incident response strategies, and governance models, contributing significantly to our innovative research initiatives.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for seasoned cybersecurity professionals to leverage their experience in a flexible, remote environment while working on impactful projects that shape the future of cybersecurity and AI evaluation.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles such as Security Engineer, CISO, or Security Lead. You should have a proven track record of managing incident response,



security architecture, or compliance initiatives within complex organizational settings. A deep understanding of security operations, cybersecurity tools, risk management, and current threat landscapes is essential.

Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 is required. Excellent analytical, technical, and written communication skills are also necessary to effectively articulate complex security concepts and produce comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity scenarios that encompass SOC monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
- Create detailed tasks spanning threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
- Design and implement scenarios utilizing industry-standard tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, and enterprise GRC platforms.
- Apply threat modeling techniques, incident response procedures, and risk assessment methodologies to ensure realistic and challenging scenarios.
- Produce reference incident reports, security assessments,



architecture designs, and compliance documentation to serve as benchmarks for evaluation.
- Develop evaluation rubrics that differentiate authentic enterprise security judgment from generic or textbook knowledge, ensuring high-quality assessment standards.
