About the Role
GSS Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented CSR Fundraiser / CSR Manager to develop and manage relationships with corporates, CSR foundations, donors, and institutional partners to mobilize CSR funding for the Foundation's social development projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying potential CSR companies, preparing professional CSR proposals, making corporate presentations, coordinating meetings, managing follow-ups, and supporting the complete CSR funding cycle from prospect identification to fund utilization and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research companies eligible and active in CSR funding.
- Develop and maintain a database of prospective CSR companies, CSR Heads, HR Heads, Foundations, and corporate decision-makers.
- Identify CSR opportunities through corporate websites, CSR portals, annual reports, and professional networks.
- Develop professional CSR proposals, concept notes, budgets, project presentations, and funding requests.
- Contact corporate CSR departments through email, telephone, LinkedIn, meetings, and official correspondence.
- Arrange and conduct corporate meetings and project presentations.
- Build long-term relationships with CSR decision-makers and corporate partners.
- Understand corporate CSR priorities and match them with suitable GSS Foundation projects.
- Coordinate with the Foundation's project team to collect project plans, budgets, beneficiary information, photographs, impact data, and other documentation required for proposals.
- Prepare customized proposals according to individual corporate CSR requirements.
- Maintain systematic records of proposals submitted, meetings held, follow-ups, approvals, commitments, and funding received.
- Follow up regularly with prospective companies until the proposal reaches a clear outcome.
- Coordinate CSR agreements, documentation, utilization reports, impact reports, certificates, photographs, and other compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing CSR presentations, donor reports, impact reports, newsletters, and corporate communication material.
- Explore opportunities for employee engagement, volunteering, sponsorships, in-kind support, and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate with senior management for important corporate meetings and negotiations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with corporate partners.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising targets assigned by management.
Fundraising Targets The candidate will be expected to work towards measurable fundraising objectives, such as:
- Monthly: Prospect identification, meetings, proposals and follow-ups
- Quarterly: Development of a strong corporate funding pipeline
- Annual: Achievement of an agreed CSR fundraising target based on experience and performance
Performance will be evaluated not only on funds received but also on quality of corporate relationships, proposal pipeline, conversion rate, and long-term partnerships. Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and spoken English and Hindi.
- Excellent proposal-writing and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of CSR fundraising and corporate communication.
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior corporate executives.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to prepare professional presentations and financial/project budgets.
- Strong follow-up and networking abilities.
- Self-motivated, disciplined and target-oriented.
- Willingness to travel for corporate meetings when required.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Preferred Qualifications Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
Candidates with experience in CSR, NGO fundraising, institutional fundraising, business development, corporate sales, donor relations, or social-sector partnerships will be preferred.

- Number of qualified CSR prospects identified.
- Number of corporate meetings secured.
- Number and quality of CSR proposals submitted.
- Proposal-to-meeting and proposal-to-funding conversion rate.
- CSR funding mobilized.
- Number of current corporate partnerships developed.
- Repeat funding and long-term partnerships.
- Quality and timeliness of documentation and reporting.
- Growth of the organization's CSR pipeline.
- Achievement of assigned fundraising targets.
Performance Incentive: Additional performance-based incentives may be offered based on successful CSR fundraising and achievement of defined targets.
