Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CT Technician to join a reputed hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for performing CT examinations, operating CT equipment safely, ensuring high-quality imaging, and providing proper patient care throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform CT scans as per physician/radiologist instructions and established protocols.
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for CT examinations and explain the procedure clearly.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Select appropriate scanning protocols based on the examination and clinical requirements.
- Administer contrast media when required and as per hospital protocol, under appropriate medical supervision.
- Monitor patients during and after contrast-enhanced examinations and promptly report any adverse reactions.
- Ensure proper patient identification and maintain accurate examination records.
- Review images for technical quality and ensure all required images are available for radiologist reporting.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and minimize unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses,



and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the CT room and equipment.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a CT Technician.
- Hands-on experience operating CT equipment in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
- Good knowledge of CT protocols, patient positioning, and image acquisition.
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures.
- Experience with contrast-enhanced CT is preferred.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively with radiologists and clinical teams.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
