We are looking for someone who believes words are not meant to fill space. They are meant to make people stop, think, feel and act.

You should be able to take a messy thought, a half-formed idea or a boring brief and find the sentence hiding inside it.

You should have an instinct for language, rhythm, culture and human behaviour. You should know when to explain something, when to simplify it and, more importantly, when to say nothing at all.

Experience writing for brands, campaigns, social media, films, websites and advertising is useful. A degree in English, journalism or communications is not. Good grammar is expected. Good thinking is essential. You should read widely, notice things others don't and have opinions about words.





You should be equally comfortable writing a two-word headline and a thousand-word story. Expect talented, motivated, slightly obsessive and engaging co-workers. Expect your first idea to be questioned. Expect to rewrite. A lot.

This is not a content-filling role. You will be expected to have something to say. Your compensation will include the opportunity to work on brands, campaigns and ideas that people might actually remember.
