BeatO is building a rigorous, doctor-led GLP-1 weight management program focused on safe, evidence-based and personalized obesity and metabolic health care. As a Consulting Physician – GLP-1 Weight Management, you will be at the centre of the clinical journey. You will conduct structured consultations, assess a patient's suitability for GLP-1 therapy, identify underlying and secondary causes of weight gain, prescribe within defined clinical protocols, and provide patients with a clear and clinically appropriate treatment plan.

This role requires robust clinical judgment and the confidence to recommend treatment when appropriate — and decline treatment when it is not clinically indicated.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct scheduled teleconsultations per day
- Review patient records before every consultation and conduct comprehensive history-taking.
- Assess weight gain, metabolic health and suitability for GLP-1 therapy.
- Screen for relevant secondary causes and clinical risks.
- Explain treatment rationale, investigations, benefits, risks and potential side effects.




- Prescribe strictly as per BeatO's clinical protocols.
- Escalate complex or off-protocol cases to the endocrinology panel.
- Exercise clinical judgment, including declining treatment when clinically inappropriate.
- Complete EMR documentation and share written advice within 10 minutes of consultation closure.
- Participate in clinical certification and ongoing quality reviews.

Experience & Essential Skills:

- MBBS with MD/DNB in Medicine, qualified in India
- Valid State Medical Council / NMC registration.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of metabolic medicine and obesity management.
- Strong clinical judgment and history-taking skills.
- Excellent patient counselling and communication skills.
- Fluent, consultation-grade English.
- Comfortable working in a technology-enabled healthcare environment.

*Compensation is as per consultation or hourly basis, as mutually agreed
