Role Description The Computer Course Faculty will deliver classroom instruction for computer science and information technology courses, ensuring that learners in Mau gain strong theoretical understanding and practical skills. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing lesson plans, developing and updating course materials, conducting lectures and lab sessions, and evaluating student performance through assignments, tests, and projects. The faculty member will provide individual support to learners, clarify technical concepts, and guide students on best practices in programming and cybersecurity.

The role also involves participating in curriculum reviews, maintaining organized records of student progress,



and collaborating with other staff to improve teaching methods and course outcomes.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science and Information Technology, with the ability to explain core concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Programming and related practical applications, enabling hands-on training and project guidance.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices, with the capability to introduce learners to secure computing habits.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing or updating course content, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in computer courses, preferably in a classroom or institute setting.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a learner-centric approach to teaching.
- Comfort with commonly used educational technologies, software tools, and computer lab equipment.
