Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collection Officer role based in Narsinghgarh.

The Collection

Officer will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, following up with customers on pending payments and ensuring timely recovery of dues in line with company policies. The role includes maintaining accurate records of collections, coordinating with branch and finance teams, and preparing regular reports on collection status and portfolio health.

Officer will interact directly with customers to clarify payment terms, address concerns, and provide guidance on repayment options while maintaining a skilled and customer-centric approach. The position requires adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance standards, along with proactive engagement to reduce delinquencies and support overall portfolio quality.

Qualifications

- Solid Debt Collection skills, including follow-up, negotiation and recovery processes.
- Solid Analytical Skills to review account data, identify risks and track collection performance.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities for handling queries, resolving issues and maintaining positive relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of Finance concepts related to loans, interest, repayment schedules and regulatory norms.
- Prior experience in collections, banking, NBFCs or housing finance is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, travel locally as needed, and manage field collections responsibly.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; commerce or finance background is an advantage.
