Responsibilities

- Design and enhance robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Github Actions and Jenkins to ensure quick reliable and repeatable deployments for Golang based applications across multiple environments

- Implement secure coding practices tailored for Golang services by embedding automated security checks static analysis and vulnerability scanning into AWS focused pipelines to reduce risk and protect customer data

- Optimize infrastructure provisioning on AWS using infrastructure as code and modular patterns to enable predictable environment creation efficient resource utilization and improved operational resilience

- Monitor application and infrastructure health through comprehensive observability solutions including metrics logging and alerting to rapidly detect incidents minimize downtime and maintain consistent user experience

- Collaborate with software engineers and product partners to refine deployment strategies release processes and rollback mechanisms that support stable feature delivery while reducing operational overhead





- Automate routine operational tasks including environment setup configuration management and artifact handling to lower manual effort decrease error rates and free capacity for innovation and improvement work

- Apply advanced troubleshooting skills across application pipeline and AWS infrastructure layers to investigate complex issues perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes that strengthen long term reliability

- Integrate security and compliance controls into all DevOps workflows including credential management access policies and audit friendly logging to help safeguard systems and align with organizational standards

- Develop and maintain reusable templates shared components and documentation for Github Actions and Jenkins pipelines so teams can onboard quickly follow consistent practices and scale delivery across the organization

- Drive continuous improvement in build performance deployment speed and rollback safety by regularly reviewing pipeline metrics experimenting with enhancements and sharing outcomes with stakeholders

- Partner with site reliability and platform engineering groups to align capacity planning backup and recovery strategies and incident response methods that support high availability of critical Golang services





- Provide technical guidance to peers on best practices for DevOps in hybrid work settings covering collaboration patterns tooling usage and secure coding in Golang so teams can work effectively regardless of location

Qualifications

- Bring six to nine years of practical DevOps experience with a strong track record of designing implementing and maintaining CI CD pipelines using Github Actions and Jenkins in production environments

- Demonstrate deep familiarity with AWS services commonly used for hosting Golang applications including container orchestration storage networking and security features applied through automated workflows

- Exhibit solid expertise in secure coding principles for Golang along with experience integrating code analysis vulnerability scanning and remediation steps directly into build and deployment pipelines

- Show proficiency in automating infrastructure and configuration management using scripting or tooling that supports repeatable cloud environment creation and clear documentation of operational procedures
