Location: Chennai – Thoraipakaam

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Clinical Head who can lead our clinical team and ensure consistent standards of clinical excellence at Thoraipakkam.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Clinical Leadership

Lead and supervise the clinical team across all 4 Squares Dentistry branches. Ensure high standards of diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical execution.

Monitor complex and high-value cases and guide doctors wherever required.

Review treatment plans for comprehensive cases such as Implants, FMR, Smile Design, Aligners and complex restorative procedures.

Act as a clinical mentor and escalation point for the team.

1. Clinical Quality & Standardisation

Establish and maintain standard clinical protocols and SOPs across branches. Ensure compliance with clinical documentation, consent, photography, radiographs and post-operative protocols.

Conduct regular clinical audits and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure strict adherence to sterilisation, infection-control and patient-safety protocols.

Maintain consistency in the quality of treatment delivered across all locations.

1. Doctor Management & Development

Monitor doctor performance, productivity and case acceptance. Conduct regular clinical meetings and case discussions.

Identify training and development requirements for doctors.

Facilitate continuing dental education, workshops and hands-on training.

Encourage evidence-based and ethical treatment practices.

Support junior doctors in improving their clinical skills and patient communication.

1. Patient Experience

Ensure every patient receives a skilled, ethical and empathetic clinical experience. Handle clinical complaints, escalations and difficult cases effectively.





Monitor patient feedback and identify recurring clinical/service issues.

Ensure proper communication of diagnosis, treatment options, risks, timelines and post-operative care.

1. Case Planning & Revenue Support

Support doctors in comprehensive treatment planning and case presentation. Review treatment plans for complex and multidisciplinary cases.

Encourage ethical conversion of appropriate treatment plans without compromising clinical standards.

Work closely with the management team to improve case acceptance and overall clinical performance.

1. Inter-Branch Coordination

Maintain uniform clinical standards across all 4 Squares Dentistry locations. Coordinate with branch heads, consultants, dental assistants and front-office teams.

Ensure smooth referral and handover of cases between specialists and branches.

1. Clinical Documentation & Compliance

Ensure complete and accurate patient records. Monitor compliance with consent forms, treatment notes, photographs, radiographs, invoices and post-operative documentation.

Ensure all doctors follow the clinic's established patient journey and documentation protocols.

Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

The Clinical Head will be evaluated on:

Clinical quality and patient outcomes

Doctor productivity and performance

Treatment-plan quality and case acceptance

Patient satisfaction and clinical feedback

Compliance with clinical SOPs

Sterilisation and infection-control compliance





Quality and completeness of patient documentation

Doctor training and skill development

Reduction in clinical complaints and treatment-related escalations.

Consistency of clinical standards across branches

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualifications

BDS is mandatory.

MDS / additional clinical qualifications preferred.

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred.

Prior experience in managing or mentoring a dental team will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies
