Wholeleaf is a fast-growing, Shark Tank-funded consumer healthcare company focused on building differentiated solutions for chronic and everyday pain management.

Our business operates across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce, pharmacies, distributors and doctor-led channels. As we scale, we are looking for a hands-on Chartered Accountant to strengthen our finance, accounting and financial control functions.

The Role

We are looking for a CA who has spent at least 2 years working within a D2C/startup environment and understands the financial complexity of a multi-channel consumer business.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can go beyond compliance and take ownership of accounting, reconciliations, MIS, cash flow, financial controls and business reporting .

What You’ll Own

Finance & Accounting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure accuracy of books.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing.
- Review ledgers, journal entries, provisions, expenses and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment across revenue, expenses, inventory and other transactions.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting SOPs.

D2C & Ecommerce Reconciliations

- Oversee reconciliation of payment gateways, bank accounts, COD collections and courier partners .
- Reconcile settlements from Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces .
- Reconcile sales and collections across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce and offline channels.
- Identify settlement discrepancies, deductions, returns, refunds and outstanding receivables.





MIS & Business Finance

- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting.
- Track revenue, gross margins, channel profitability, operating expenses and working capital.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
- Provide management with explicit financial insights for business decision-making.
- Monitor cash flows, receivables, payables and vendor payment cycles.

Compliance & Controls

- Ensure timely GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, Company Secretary and other external professionals.
- Support statutory audits, tax audits and financial due diligence.
- Ensure proper documentation and financial governance as the company scales.

You Should Have
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior in-house experience with a D2C / consumer startup is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce accounting and reconciliations.
- Experience with payment gateways, marketplace settlements, COD and multi-channel revenue reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Robust command of Tally and Excel .
- Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and independently investigating reconciliation differences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to be hands-on rather than functioning only as a reviewer or manager.

Preferred Background Experience with consumer healthcare, wellness, nutraceuticals, FMCG, personal care or other high-volume consumer brands would be an advantage.
