Chartered Accountant AssociateJob OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Chartered Accountant Associate to support the organization in financial management, accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, and financial analysis.
The role will involve working closely with the management and finance team to ensure accurate financial records, timely statutory compliance, effective financial controls, and informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting &
- Financial Management
- Maintain and review accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records.
- Monitor day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Review accounts payable and receivable and monitor outstanding balances.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and classification of financial transactions.
2.
Financial
Reporting &
• Analysis
- Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and other key financial indicators.
- Identify unusual transactions, variances, and financial discrepancies and report them to management.
- Provide financial insights to support budgeting and business decisions.
3. Taxation & • Statutory Compliance
- Assist in ensuring timely compliance with applicable GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, statements,
and related documentation.
- Reconcile GST and TDS records with accounting data.
- Track important tax and compliance deadlines.
- Assist with tax assessments, notices, and correspondence with authorities when required.
4. Audit & • Compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during statutory, tax, and financial audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and financial information.
- Ensure proper maintenance of invoices, vouchers, agreements, and other financial records.
- Assist in identifying and strengthening internal financial controls.
- Ensure accounting and financial processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
5. Budgeting & • Financial Planning
- Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track actual performance against budgets and prepare variance reports.
- Support cash-flow planning and financial projections.
- Provide analysis to help management control costs and improve profitability.
6.
Management
Support
- Provide financial information and analysis to management whenever required.
- Assist in evaluating the financial impact of business decisions.
- Support due diligence, financial reviews, and special financial projects.
- Work closely with HR, operations, sales, and management teams on finance-related requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and financial risks.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification & • Experience
- CA / CA Inter qualification preferred, depending on the level of the position.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting, taxation, audit, financial reporting, or corporate finance will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical knowledge and relevant experience may also be considered based on the role requirements.
