We're growing and looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (India) with solid, hands-on experience in Australian accounting to join our team.
The Role
You'll work directly with our Australian team to manage bookkeeping, compliance, and reporting tasks for a portfolio of Australian clients across a range of industries. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented CA who wants to build deep expertise in the Australian accounting setting and grow with an expanding practice.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and lodge/support BAS and GST compliance for Australian clients
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly/quarterly reconciliations in Xero
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Assist with payroll processing and compliance (Xero Payroll / STP)
Perform account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close procedures
Liaise with the Perth-based team on client queries and deliverables
Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Maintain accurate,
well-documented working papers in line with practice standards
What We're Looking For
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — India
Proven experience working on Australian accounting engagements (essential)
Strong working knowledge of Australian GST/BAS requirements
Hands-on proficiency with Xero (essential); experience with other Australian bookkeeping/payroll tools is a plus
Solid understanding of preparing financial statements and reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and strong written English communication skills
Ability to solve problems and find improvements
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines across a client portfolio
Nice to Have
Experience with Australian payroll and Single Touch Payroll (STP)
Exposure to other Australian practice software (e.g. Xero Practice Manager, Dext, Hubdoc)
- Prior experience working for an Australian-facing outsourced accounting/BPO team
