Role Overview

nWe are hiring for two levels

n

n
- Intern: 0–6 months experience
n
- Software Engineer: 1–2 years of relevant robotics software development experience
n

nYou will contribute across the complete robotics software stack — operator interfaces, high-performance back-end robotics software, and the networking/communication layer connecting robots to Ground Control Stations (GCS) — working closely with embedded hardware and autonomy teams.

nLocation: Hyderabad, Telangana (Balanagar area)

nJob Type: Onsite, Full-time

nDomain: Defence - Robotics, Autonomous Systems, IoT Systems, Fire Control Systems, and Training Simulators

nWork Requirement: Candidate must carry their own laptop for work

nKey Responsibilities

nOperator Interface (Front-End)

n

n
- Develop Qt/QML-based Ground Control Station (GCS) applications
n
- Design intuitive operator dashboards for robot monitoring and control
n
- Integrate live telemetry, maps, and video feeds into the operator interface
n

nRobotics Software (Back-End)

n

n
- Develop high-performance robotics applications in C++ and Python on Linux
n
- Implement autonomy, robot control, perception, and hardware integration
n
- Build modular, reliable, real-time software architectures
n

nNetworking & Communication

n

n
- Design and implement TCP/UDP-based communication between robots and GCS
n




- Develop low-latency video streaming pipelines using OpenCV
n
- Implement UART communication with STM32-based embedded controllers
n
- Optimize communication reliability and latency for field deployment
n

nMandatory Requirements

n

n
- Strong proficiency in C++ (must-have)
n
- Robotics fundamentals — kinematics, control systems
n
- Solid understanding of data structures & algorithms, multithreading/concurrency, and memory management
n
- Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
n
- Experience working on real robotic systems or complex system-level projects (not just prototypes/scripts)
n

nPreferred Skills

n

n
- Computer vision (OpenCV)
n
- Networking (TCP/UDP, ROS networking)
n
- GUI development (Qt/QML, PyQt, RViz plugins)
n
- Simulation experience
n
- Active GitHub / project portfolio
n
- Exposure to reinforcement learning or imitation learning (bonus, not core)
n

nWhat We Look For

- Engineers who build real robotic systems, not just prototypes or scripts
n
- Solid fundamentals over buzzwords
n
- Ability to work across software + hardware integration boundaries
n
- Genuine interest in robotics and defence technology
n

nNot a fit for: pure web development backgrounds (React/Angular/Node.js), notebook-only AI/ML profiles without deployment experience, or candidates without strong C++/systems fundamentals.

nCompensation and Career Progression

nIntern (0–6 months experience)

n

n
- Intern (first 6 months): ₹15,000-18,000month
n
- Trainee (next 6 months): ₹20,000/month (based on performance)
n
- Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) eligibility as Junior Software Engineer after 12 months
n
- Junior Software Engineer salary: ₹22,000–₹25,000/month (based on performance and technical evaluation)
n

nSoftware Engineer (1–2 years experience)

n

n
- Up to ₹5 LPA, subject to experience and technical evaluation
n

nFinal offers for both tracks are determined by relevant robotics/C++ experience and technical assessment.
