Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior. This role is responsible for identifying and developing current business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions, and expanding the market reach of Edusol’s textbooks and digital content. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and meeting potential clients, presenting product offerings, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Manager will also analyze market trends, prepare sales reports, participate in promotional events, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine offerings based on client feedback.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in business development, client relationship management, and sales planning.
- Experience in market research, lead generation, and pipeline management within education or publishing sectors.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic office software and CRM tools, with good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in educational publishing, EdTech, or institutional sales is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Gwalior, travel for client meetings as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
