Role Description The Branch Business Manager – Home Loans is a full-time, on-site role based in Godhra. The individual in this position will oversee the branch’s home loan business, including achieving sales targets, managing the customer portfolio, and ensuring high standards of service and compliance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and nurturing leads, guiding customers through the home loan application and approval process, coordinating with credit and operations teams, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The role also involves supervising branch staff related to home loan activities, monitoring performance, implementing business development initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Robust business development and sales skills, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and target achievement in retail lending or home loans.
- Proficiency in branch operations and portfolio management, with the ability to oversee processes, documentation, and compliance for home loan accounts.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills to support clients through the loan lifecycle and maintain long-term engagement.
- Solid analytical and decision-making abilities for credit assessment, risk evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, branch teams, and cross-functional departments.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or housing finance, preferably in semi-urban or rural markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and financial software, with the ability to prepare reports and analyze branch data.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Local market knowledge of Godhra and surrounding areas, with willingness to work on-site and engage with the community.
