Role Description The Billing Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Tijara.

The Billing

Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), verifying quantities executed at site, and preparing client and subcontractor bills in line with contract terms. Daily tasks include coordinating with site engineers and project managers for measurement records, performing rate analysis, checking drawings and specifications for billing accuracy, and updating billing systems and documentation. The role also involves monitoring project cost data, supporting quantity surveying activities,



and generating periodic reports for internal and client review.

Engineer will work closely with the commercial and project teams to ensure timely, accurate billing and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity surveying, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
- Proficiency in billing systems and processes, including preparation of client and subcontractor bills and maintenance of billing records.
- Capability in rate analysis and cost estimation for various construction activities.
- Well-developed analytical skills to validate quantities, identify discrepancies, and support data-driven decisions.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in building or infrastructure construction projects, preferably in a similar billing or quantity surveying role.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and relevant engineering or billing software.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with site and office teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for coordination with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
