Role Description The BDE Intern role at Akalan AI is a remote position role. The intern will support business development activities by researching potential clients, maintaining prospect lists, and assisting in outreach through calls, emails, and social media. Daily responsibilities include qualifying leads, scheduling and coordinating meetings or demos, and tracking interactions in CRM or other internal tools.





The intern will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to prepare pitch materials, gather feedback from prospects, and contribute to improving messaging and outreach strategies. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor offerings, and partner opportunities to help grow Akalan AI’s presence among universities, bootcamps, and talent organizations.

Qualifications

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects clearly and professionally.
- Basic understanding of sales and business development processes, including lead generation, outreach, and follow-up.
- Comfort with using digital tools such as CRM systems, spreadsheets, email platforms, and social media for professional outreach.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, organize information, and present insights concisely.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in AI, EdTech, or hiring/placement domains is highly beneficial.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
