ABOUT THE SPIRITED SPOT The Spirited Spot (TSS) is a high-energy bar and dining destination built around craft cocktails, global food, live music and warm hospitality.

After establishing TSS in Nagpur, we have now opened our Pune outlet in Baner.

Cocktails are at the heart of the TSS experience. Our bar program combines classic bartending fundamentals with modern techniques, house-made ingredients and original signature cocktails.

We are looking for bartenders who genuinely understand and enjoy cocktail culture.

ROLE

We are looking for skilled and passionate Bartenders with previous experience working specifically in a cocktail-forward bar.

This is not a basic pouring or standard bar-service position.

The bartender will work closely with the Bar Manager and team to execute TSS signature cocktails, classics and other beverages while maintaining consistency, speed and high standards during busy service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and serve TSS signature cocktails and classic cocktails consistently.
- Follow recipes, measurements, techniques and presentation standards accurately.
- Maintain proper mise-en-place before every service.
- Prepare house-made syrups, infusions, cordials and other cocktail ingredients.
- Work with modern bar techniques including infusion, pickling and carbonation.
- Understand spirits, liqueurs, bitters, modifiers and cocktail ingredients.
- Maintain correct dilution, temperature, balance and presentation of cocktails.
- Handle high-volume cocktail service without compromising quality.
- Interact confidently with guests seated at the bar.
- Understand guest preferences and recommend suitable cocktails.
- Explain ingredients and flavour profiles clearly.
- Maintain bar hygiene, organisation and cleanliness.
- Follow FIFO, stock rotation and storage procedures.




- Control wastage and maintain accurate pouring standards.
- Assist with bar inventory and stock counts.
- Maintain glassware, equipment and bar tools correctly.
- Work closely with the service team for smooth and timely beverage service.
- Participate in cocktail training, tastings and development sessions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Previous experience working in a cocktail-forward bar is compulsory.

The candidate should have

- Minimum 1–2 years of professional bartending experience.
- Strong hands-on experience preparing cocktails during actual service.
- Good knowledge of classic cocktails and modern cocktail techniques.
- Robust understanding of spirits and different liquor categories.
- Experience with house-made cocktail ingredients will be preferred.
- Good understanding of flavour balance and cocktail construction.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure during busy nights.
- Good communication and guest-interaction skills.
- Professional grooming and strong bar etiquette.
- Willingness to learn, experiment and continuously improve.
- Comfortable working weekends, late evenings, live-music nights and high-volume events.

WHAT WE DON’T WANT We are not looking for bartenders whose experience is limited to opening bottles, pouring spirits and making basic mixed drinks.

TSS is a cocktail-forward bar, and every bartender joining our team should already have a strong cocktail foundation.

THE TSS BARTENDER A bartender at TSS should understand more than a recipe.

You should understand why a drink works — its balance, aroma, texture, temperature, dilution and presentation.

We want bartenders who are curious about ingredients, serious about technique and confident enough to talk to guests about what is in their glass.
